Hello and Happy New Year.  I hope 2014 will be a good one for all of you.
We now have a new addition in our family --- my granddaughter, Patton Lea, was born on December 28th via C-section.  She's absolutely gorgeous, but I am not a bit prejudiced! My daughter-in-law had, and is still having, a very rough time.  She went through all-day labor and then into surgery with a bad case of the flu.  Poor mom is still dealing with issues and has been in the emergency room since being discharged due to the coughing causing problems with her incision.  I would covet your prayers for this sweet girl.
My son, Jeremy, the proud daddy! They have this little girl wrapped up like a burrito as they had a hard time keeping her temperature stabilized, but she is doing fine now.
Believe it or not, I actually do have some projects to share with you soon.  Again, may I wish you the very best in 2014.  Hugs, Shawna

    1. Thank you so much Lynn! She IS doing some better, but she was, yet again, in the ER for issues with her incision. This too shall pass.... Hope you and yours are staying well!!!

  2. oh how wonderful for you Shawna! She looks just precious, and your son looks so proud! I hope your daughter in law is better now. I caught a nasty cold right after the 1st, and coughing alone is bad enough, but to cough with incisions sounds awful!
